No that would be confusing. If it's the same exact name as the previous library it will have the same effects and programming (and would only sound different if ST3 itself sounded any different). The NEW 100+ patches will have NEW patch names so it's clear what to expect.DarkStar wrote:Thank you. So, if, for example, I load an Sonic Reality ST2 preset with EQ/Comp, Chorus and Delay then I load the same-named Sonic Reality ST3 preset they will sound different?allen_esoundz wrote:The new patches will use the new effects that are available in ST3.

Correct. You can always just import the ST2 sounds into your ST3 and do any new patch programming yourself. But if you want 100+ NEW patches making those samples come ALIVE with the new engine's effects and other features then for essentially the price we'd charge for a patch library you can get it for the libraries you already know and use.
But, again, if you want to update say 10 X ST2 libraries from Sonic Reality THAT YOU BOUGHT FROM ESOUNDZ (key point - and that it can be verified by Allen) and you want to update all 10... who knows? Maybe you'll end up paying a LOT less than you think. I can't quote any prices here though but when the time comes just talk to Allen and he will be more than fair enticing you to want to take advantage of all of this new sound programming on classic SR sounds!
How about Keyswitching for Bass/A Guitar/E guitar Collection 2 etc... will that be a part of the upgrade?

I suspect a conversation with Allen may soon follow ...Squids wrote: But, again, if you want to update say 10 X ST2 libraries from Sonic Reality THAT YOU BOUGHT FROM ESOUNDZ (key point - and that it can be verified by Allen) and you want to update all 10... who knows? Thanks Squids & good luck with the new album!

So - I purchased the ST3 upgrade thru eSoundz...what now?
It says my order is complete but I have no download links...no links to the free Essential keyboards addon or anything. How exactly do I retrieve my stuff? The email I received with my order says:
"If you have purchased a download, your item(s) are available in your download area."
If I look in my eSoundz Download area - all I see is a serial number for ST3.
What's next?

Serial number is to be registered with the IK Multimedia Authorization Manager. I'll be adding those instructions to the product page shortly.
