Which "Engine quality" setting are you using? You could set this in the "Settings" menu at the right of the GUI.
The modes are Draft (= lowest), Good, Better, Best (= highest) and Preset.

With "Preset" you could use a different setting for each preset/patch and for the current patch this could be adjusted at the "Enngine" parameters in the upper part of the GUI.

Hello.

The new knob must turn down the harsh digital aliasing levels coming in Quality: Best

"Best" mode is producing these sounds which cause a lot of damaging and hurt my ears to listen.
