Trigger from computer keyboard

Hi Paul,
Just one wish for your great masterpiece!
The virtual keyboard is great, but when one is using a laptop with no midi keyboard around and little space for fiddling with the mouse, it gets quite tricky,
It would be great if playing with the computer keyboard could trigger some notes (like when using the virtual keyboard).
The down side of the VK is that as soon as one clicks on a control, the focus is on another panel, so playing the keys does not work anymore (at least under linux).
Making the keys trigger from the other voice editing panels would be a great addition.
