Well done. I had an Amiga 3000. Made a few .modz and .medz. I loved that thing
It's a little ironic to me, to see this thread today, as I was just telling my ten year old daughter about how far ahead of it's time the Amiga was. It was "daddy" (me) going of on some weird rabbit trail while reading a story that had nothing to do with technology or computers.
For me, it wasn't until 1997-98 or so, that it seemed like the Windoze world had finally caught-up with the Amiga, my Amiga of 1989-1990.
How big is your hard drive? Does it have the 68020 or an other processor upgrade?
Enjoy

I have a 80mb drive now but i'll replace it with a 4gig CF cart soon.

I picked-up an A500 in 1993 a few years after we moved. I later "had" to upgrade our 386 to 8MB RAM. I traded the A500 for 8MB RAM. And that was actually a good deal in all of it's ridiculousness. It sure made our Windoze 3.1 run faster, but it still couldn't multi-task much. I also bought a 2MB VESA video card for about $175 at the time...how crazy.
Make some cool tunes with it...or just have fun.

CoolEditPro can save as .iff for amiga. Dunno weather Adobe Audition still does...
Not free, I know, but maybe you already own it an did not realise it can do it.

IFF files as in the .wb1 format ones? I got 40 Banks of those. All have to do is change the extension from .wb1 to .iff and they will load right up.

Now the race is on to find all the classic breaks in .iff or .mod format, so I can relive my first steps as a musical entity

Check this site:

You will find lots of AMIGA disk images full of samples, incl. the ST-XX series. However, don't ask me how to copy them to real 3.5" disks

The Amiga Forever package has a serial tool that lets you transfer data from a PC to an Amiga through null modem cable. Once on the Amiga, you can move those files to an Amiga diskette. There may be other similar tools, but this is the one i know of and have used. You can also put things on PCMCIA flash cards. The Amiga can read FAT12 file system, too, if you have the driver(?) installed, so you can also transfer from PC diskette to Amiga hard drive to Amiga diskette.MaF wrote:Check this site:
