Hi,
Here are 2 sets of original home cooked samples of an empty plastic bottle (24/44.1) wav + sfz (dry/ambient).
http://rapidshare.com/files/374794049/p ... bottle.rar
Some of them have been slightly tweaked (eq/dyn).
They might sound completely useless but I thought it would do no harm to share
Have fun!
Phil

Really really useful.
Soon I will post some music that was taking advantage of those samples.
Thanks again.

Very Cool Phil.
I did get a chance to explore these and worked the included SFZ files. Nice set of sounds. The Ambient seems to have the most life.
They lacked a few sounds I needed, so I took the trouble to add 8 more sounds of my own (before recycling). I used an Arrowhead bottle and a Root Beer bottle to add the sounds including a bottle neck tap and an Arrow head scrape. I posted the two folders with new sounds in the Ambient folder and reworked SFZ files on 4shared. You should be able to use the SFZ right out of the folder.
The SFZ uses all white keys, as before, with one more octave.
Here's a latin sounding tune using the plastic bottle percussion --
Blue Fin (MP3).

This is what true sampling is all about...grabbing anything and making something lol.
Seriously love these sounds, the ambienced tabla7low is lovely. All really useful thanks for sharing.
Time for the DAT to start roaming the outside of my 4 walls.

my pleasure, I fancy making more 'exotic' types of sounds now and then
@Jpumphandle - glad you could make something out of it. Thanks for the update!
