Crossfade Loop Synth 3.1.3 fires off terrible noise when un-muted

Got the latest build, 3.1.3, in Bidule. When un-muted it blasts off a terrible noise burst. All meters shiver up in the red area and after like half a minute the noise slowly cools down and silences. Muting it and un-muting causes the same thing to happen again. Any ideas what this is?

Details:
In Bidule I simply run the audio signal right through the plugin. I am controlling the Feedback parameter by external cc#. The muting is handled by an Audio Switcher object of Bidule's.

The latest version is 3.1.4, but I doubt that would affect anything.

What version of Bidule is it? are you using the AU or VST?

Oh, that was fast! I upgraded less than a week ago. Will immediately run the License Manager again and see what I can get now.

I can't reproduce this problem. Can you send me a simple Bidule file to try?
