"Ariel Infinity" ambient guitar using feedbacking vintage AD 80 Ibanez Analog Delay footpedal.
EDIT.
This is the final version mixing the 2 guitar parts.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9504745/Ariel%20Infinity.mp3
The other instruments are Zebra and Omnisphere.
These are the two previous versions.
"Ariel's Infinity" 12.08 MB 6 min 35 sec at 256 kbps
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9504745/Ariel%2 ... finity.mp3
http://www.isound.com/downloads/634550
or top of the player at http://www.isound.com/#/fate_atc
Here also is a version with more of the footpedal feedback freakout for those that might like that sort of thing. "Beyond Ariel's Infinity"
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9504745/Beyond% ... finity.mp3
which is a little shorter at 6 min 2 sec
any comments or feedback appreciated.

Very nice! Loving the guitar work...
I've only listened to "Ariel's Infinity" yet, will try to listen to "Beyond..." later too, your description sounds interesting.

I also preferred the second one, although they were both lovely. Echoes of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part 1" for me (see what I did there)? Some nice sounds on here and the guitar playing seemed just right for the mood. This one also managed to successfully continue the fatc early-morning audition tradition

Glad it seemed ok Programmentalist, thanks for checking this out.
haha, thanks polyslax and seimic. Yes, on the second one the feedback got away from me, and I had difficulty getting it back, usually twisting the delay time knob will have it back down ...should have kept playing

I enjoyed both of these, "Beyond Ariel's Infinity" probably a bit more because I do like that sort of thing. Thanks.

Loved 'em both, but 'Beyond..' really floated my cosmic boat
That's a nice delay pedal, btw - I remember having an Ibanez rack-mounted delay unit which was capable of some awesome out-there sounds...

This is quite delicious. Should be listened to in a darkened room, with maybe just a slow light pattern generator.
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

goodness, thanks for checking this out DH,, mikusan, folderol and mac, and really pleased you like it.
maybe I should drag the pedal out again, and try something else with it, surprised most seem to like the Beyond version too. Might try for a bit more mayhem.

Can't complain about this. 3 for the price of one. I think I prefer the new version to the originals. The guitar seems to be better integrated with the synths. It still has that Floyd vibe. Nice sounds fatc

thanks very much for checking the final version out seismic, which I think is a definite improvement, and glad you agree, good to have that confirmed.
got a good dynamic range here, 11 on the DR meter thingey, which I was pleased about.
thanks again.
