Based on the audio examples on Antares' own page, you're not missing much. Honestly, the only demo of any of the EVO products that didn't sound like crap to me was for Articulator, which I did pick up for $29 a few weeks back.

I'm a little bit hoping they roll out a deal for Harmony Engine EFX or EVO... it doesn't sound super-great, but I could have endless fun with it.

I just upgraded to the full version of Rapture from the LE version in Sonar X1 le in the cakewalk deals for just £15. I must admit I'd totally overlooked Rapture in the past but playing it now it seems quality and packs a lot into the screen space whilst still be easy to read and navigate.

I noticed they have the option to upgrade to Dimension Pro from the Le version for £35,

Yes. If you have Rapture LE you get to upgrade for £15. If you have Dimension LE you can upgrade that to the full for £35. These LE instrument versions come with Sonar X1 LE and some of the old Sonar versions as well as with some of the sound packs.

Rapture LE and Dimension LE aren't included in Sonar X1 LE. Dimension LE is included in Sonar X1 Essential and Studio; Dimension Pro in Sonar X1 Producer; and Rapture LE in Sonar X1 Studio and Producer.
