I've just sent out your download details again. Hopefully they get through this time.LAGinz wrote:Yes, I did consider that, but several people on this thread seem to have ordered and received their's over the weekend.
Sometimes I sleep, but if you have to wait for more than, let's say 10 hours, chances are that something went wrong. If you have to wait for more than 24 hours, then something DEFINITELY went wrong.
At least I got your email.
If you still don't receive anything, I'll send you a PM.

Just a sidenote - even though Tony is fast in terms of sending out licenses, I wouldn't take it for granted.
24 to 48 hours of turnaround if something went wrong should be considered first and being accepted before sending out any mails.
In my case, last time DC8A was updated, I didn't get any info, so I checked my account and it was there. Then again, I had my login data already. In terms of other firms, I still wait for updates of my licenses since they are sent out by mail - and no, they are not in the spam filters (*cough* <insert name of italian firm here> *cough*)

After two days of playing with it: The best thing since sliced bread and -of course- the HOFA IQ-EQ!
But, please make it skinnable...

Just found out about this from another thread and bought it - the first non-DAW and non-Ozone compressor i've ever bought.
Really excited about it and it's sounding great so far.

+1001. At first, I thought, nah, it looks great. But, after a few weeks of use, skinning is a great idea. DC8A is just so, so flexible it really deserves flexible skinning. It would be great if there was an option for a different skin dependent on the model selected. Or even just a background gamma shift that changed with the snap, smooth, crunch and crush. And changed again when switched between easy and expert mode. When running many instances, performing radically different functions, wouldn't it be good to have instant visual feedback?iNNeRNoiZe wrote:But, please make it skinnable...

Its very similar to the CL2B from softube in the snappy algorithm in terms of the sound you can achieve compression wise. It is as good as any other.. simple as and for 20 euro's...HcDoom wrote:How is this compressor compared to the big boys like from Waves, The Glue, Softube, etc.?

Just bought this.
The presets aren't showing up using the vst3 in Studio One 64bit windows 7.
Any ideas where they are?

I've had issues with Studio One 2 (Mac) not loading presets for other plugins. You can import them, but IIRC they still won't show after a restart.

I recently bought this and can't believe it doesn't cost at least four times the price, AMAZING quality plugin. "Boutique" quality DSP at an extremely affordable price, still getting to know it but I love what I know so far. Windows 7 64-bit operating environment, DAW continues to be Reaper, now up to Reaper 4 64-bit.
