All "pros" moving over to Logic, why?

I think it was here we were talking about best buy? It wasn't as bad as usual when I just went there. Busy though.

The macs look nice but they are all under powered except the MBP, which I'm assuming the i7's take more battery life and run hotter. They had two with same chip/hd/ram (don't know what other diffs) but were about 500 bucks different because of the screen size?

Luckily, I'm not in the market and don't need to worry.

'All Pros moving to Logic Pro' Why ?

Because it has 'Pro' after 'Logic' :hihi:

I'm a Cubase 6.5 user, and would not bother with Logic Pro 9, it is one of the most un-logical DAWs I have used. Maybe that's why it's got a 'Pro' in it's name.

Cheers,

Your statement is completely illogical.

All pro's are moving to Logic? That would suggest all pro's have used something else until now wouldn't it? I always knew Logic was just for kids who bought their first mac and didn't know where they were getting into.
;)

Joking aside. Logic is a great product which shouldn't be overlooked just because Apple sells it. And at the price it's going it almost counters the disadvantage of running their OS. But definitely worth looking at if you have a Mac.

Yes obviously they all learned to become pros on something else. FL Studio maybe. :hihi:

There are no pros moving to logic pro. The premise of the thread is a lie and anyone answering it , a tool.

Sorry if this comes as a surprise to you, but I am just stating the facts.

I see your logic and trump it with some cheese...

You answered it, so I guess you can include yourself in that assumption, which isn't a fact yet, as you failed to show any proof.
If your trying to be insulting, then it worked, and that's about all that post accomplished. Thanks for contributing.

Really.

Who really cares a ...beeep...what the 'pro's' use.

Just use what works...for you.

Logic 9 works great here. Don't know if it is Pro or not.
Just took 3 days to learn the shortcuts.

just tried emagic logic for the pc for the first time and i have to say that the included effects and instruments are pretty fantastic given the fact of how old they are too!!. This is a non biased comment just to say that logics DSP and audio engine really are something special, ive tried most of the DAW there is, owned or demoed ,and have to say its quite appealing to think about getting a mac for just the program itself. If its anything like the original PC version im sold. Ive been using reason 6, sonar expanded, live 6, cubase, studio 1 demo, and orion 8.5.
