So tell me this Einstein, when will Aether 2.0 be released?whyterabbyt wrote:And similarly it merely takes some random twerp to claim something and not back it up with anything concrete...Lenticular wrote:I should say instead it doesn't take an Einstein to figure it out.whyterabbyt wrote:Proof of that?Lenticular wrote:You fell for it I guess.

I think it is OK to say someone doesn't agree with the pricing scheme. That is fine and I am sure it is considered by the developer, however it's going a little far IMO to make assumptions that the company is attempting to rip off its customer base WITHOUT knowing all of the details behind why the product was given the price tag it has and ACTUALLY what extent of man-hours in R&D went into developing the product in question. Sure we can look at the shell and say "Wow this sure looks like a wide-screen Breeze ho ho ho" but I HIGHLY doubt that that is all there is to B2. Actually, I can see that it is not the case because I used my valuable time to demo it beforehand. It is quite different than what the other two have to offer.
Now, that said, the discount for existing customers is a cool 100USD ttl of the MSRP.

Sure. But first, lets see the proof that there ever was, and in fact always was, going to be an Aether 2.0 in the first place.Lenticular wrote:So tell me this Einstein, when will Aether 2.0 be released?whyterabbyt wrote:And similarly it merely takes some random twerp to claim something and not back it up with anything concrete...Lenticular wrote:I should say instead it doesn't take an Einstein to figure it out.whyterabbyt wrote:Proof of that?Lenticular wrote:You fell for it I guess.

Because obviously if there wasnt, B2 cant be it. And if there was, and I give you a timescale, presumably that'll be sufficient proof that B2 isnt it?
So either way you shut up, yeah?

Shut up? I don't answer to you.
What are you judge & jury for this forum?

Haven't read the all the posts on this dread but saw the update elsewhere and checked out their website.
As an existing customer very dissapointing, thought 2C where more innovated than this?
On a plus if your dont have Aether I am guessing this is the one to go for, haven't researched properly as I've enough reverb to echo the universe (2C, Lexicon, Valhalla, Waves, Tsar).
Switched off when saw it's another reverb sigh and no deals for existing owners (got both Aether and Breeze).
Anti climax anything more in the pipeline 2c?

I dunno, if 2C audio love reverb then thats cool, let them make as many as they want. If you have Aether or Breeze though I can see the dilemma. If I did no have Aether I'd probably be up for it.

So you're saying that either way you dont shut up? That hardly makes it worth me answering.Lenticular wrote:Shut up? I don't answer to you.
What are you judge & jury for this forum?
What's the point in asking, or answering a question, if the information changes nothing?
Im confused as to the rest of it. Did you not understand the fairly simple question?
Yeah, but I asked for proof of 'always,' didnt I.By the way, from several years ago:

Well, Im pretty sure Einstein understood logic, whereas you, very clearly, dont. So, you read it, apply some, and then get back to us all when it seeps through.Lenticular wrote:You really are an Einstein....Read it!whyterabbyt wrote:So you're saying that either way you dont shut up? Clue : saying 'we intend to do X' several does not actually preclude abandoning the intention to do X.

Why don't you get a clue & realize this was written well over 2 years ago. I also have the "The Perfect Storm" Aether + Breeze + expansions..
B2 looks nice, and sounds nice and all but, I look at the upgrade pricing scheme and if you only own one of 2C products than you get $50 off...
I think those of us who have everything so far should get another $50 off, it seems fair to me, the more 2C products you have the bigger the discount.
As one owning Aether and breeze and some UAD reverbs among others, even at $150 it's tough to swallow and justify B2

A clue about what? The longer ago it was written, the more that supports what I said...Lenticular wrote:Why don't you get a clue & realize this was written well over 2 years ago.
Clue : saying 'we intend to do X' two years ago still does not actually preclude abandoning the intention to do X.
Says the guy who still can't understand that saying "we're going to do X" two years ago doesnt actually prove that doing Q has anything to do with X, or that it proves anything about whether X ever will be done.Maybe you will try to understand instead of trying to appear knowledgeable.
Im knowledgeable enough to know you're saying nothing of any merit here.
So lets recap: you're supposedly trying to prove that B2 is Aether 2.0. You decided to defend that assertion on the basis that anyone who doesnt know the future intended date for the release of Aether 2.0 cant say this isnt Aether 2.0, despite the inherent lack of logic in that, on the basis that once upon a time, Aether 2.0 was mooted.
Clue 2 : saying 'we intend to do X' two years ago does not actually prove that Q is X.
