Good track, Jesse. This has a nice melodic progression which seems to radiate a feeling of sadness. It feels to me like soundtrack material, maybe for a romantic tragedy set in the 1920s or thereabouts.
Good work

It started out really good, sounds like it came right out of a movie. My only remark would be that it misses a bit fullness, personally I think it could use a bit more low end. Other than that, nice work!

Is that a bad note about 1:27 or so, or was that on purpose? It was distracting enough for me to post. Whenever I play notes like that I like to play them twice, louder the second time, so that the listener knows that it's supposed to be that way.

Nice composition you have here Jesse!
The intro has this unpredictable quality to it that keeps the listener interested. Then it sounds like you're improvising later on..even some 'blue' notes...and to keep it interesting you change keys...and back to the intro....more key changes...
Sweet!

The 'bad' note is on purpose ;-)
And playing them twice wouldn't work :) in classical music this happens all the time contrary to popmusic
