Cute :-)
I had a Maine Coon that did that. Then he started in on the other male cat and he had to be relocated. Oddly enough, his second home is the former girlfriend who's presence in my life seemed to actually trigger his territorial aggression. We theorized it might be a pheromone thing. He's perfectly fine with her (though was hostile to her male friends) and was very close with her parents' dog (female). I miss him, and the cuteness of his cat behaviors, but I don't miss the cardboard mess (nor the vet visits for the kitty he repeatedly injured).

Stared at a wall... My favorite one.

My fatty boy cat will sit and stare at the water bowl for many minutes at a time. Then he will LAY DOWN at it and luck the plastic top, more than actually touching tongue to water. It's laborious for that cat to drink, apparently.

My ex's cat used to play shuffleboard with the water bowl and dance with his front paws at the bowl.

Cats are weird.

Most certainly! Max finds "imaginary" friends to play with :hihi: He's just be so excited he'll just look at the wall or the ground for something that is not there. Like a bug or whatever, but there is no bug

It's seems to be important where to drink from bowl. Our cats always drink somewhere near the edge of the bowl, never in the middle. Somehow "edge water" must be more delicious than conventional water

Well, after coming up on 2 years.......Max is as wild as ever. It's really hard because he requires policing CONSTANTLY. (you can't just let him be a cat, that's like telling a crazy 6 year old to just do whatever they want after a bag of candy) Still trying to find where he stashes the Monster energy drinks

Maple is doing GREAT! She's playful, energetic, curious and generally acts like a 5 Y/O again (she's prolly about 13/14) So, despite the GOBS of cash spent on all the meds/trying to get her to have a pill (yeah, you KNOW what I mean) and having the fluid treatments, it's good :phew:
