hi there
i spoke to sebastian from moonlight matters and he said that this synth sound..
51 seconds.. the riff..
http://soundcloud.com/moonlightmatters/ ... ters-remix
was made with his memory moog - it sounds FM synth to me.. can anyone make a version?
love

AFAIK the 3rd oscillator of the Memorymoog could be used to modulate the frequency of the other OSCs which leads to FM-like sounds (this would also apply to the Minimoog which could use Osc 3 for modulation).
Same is possible with the Minimoog oscillators in Diva using the FM 1>2/3 knob.
Also not use a too high amount of the FM knob, the maximum value should be 15.00.
I just tried and was able to get something in the right direction but an exact replication will take a little time.
I have found a PDF with the Memorymoog manual:
http://www.retrosynth.com/docs/memorymoog/mm_users.pdf
This also includes patch sheets which could be quite interesting.
None of the patch sheets seems to fit to the sound in the OP except "Vibes" maybe.

Here is a first rough approach with Diva after around 20 minutes of work (Diva preset file):
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/53230726/IW%20 ... et%201.h2p
This is is not optimized yet.
BTW while the Memorymoog seems to contain a Moog ladder filter the oscillators seem to be based on CEM chips and comparable to the Jupiter 6.
Based on the Retrosynth website the VCO is built from the CEM3340, VCA is CEM 3360, and EGs are CEM3310.
UPDATE:
Two more versions with different envelope module and slightly different envelope and filter values:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/53230726/IW%20 ... et%202.h2p
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/53230726/IW%20 ... et%203.h2p
UPDATE:
This does not really fit to the track but personally i like that sound with a longer Decay like this one:

Still no reply to my posts/presets after almost two weeks?
Not that it's a big problem for me but it's quite strange.

i almost started to forget about this thread...
I am happy that you like the presets. If i find a little time i'll maybe invest a little time to get it even closer to the original sound.
Based on the amount of time i invested in this so far the results seem to be quite nice and there are some variations now.
