Is it me or does it starts faster? Also for those who had problems like Studio One 2 being CPU/RAM hungry, it seems that I found an option that fixed it: Studio One -> Options -> Advanced -> Audio -> Check Process audio in safe mode (higher latency). I can't see any latency problem, I can play my synths without any problem and CPU and RAM seems to be used less.
The same project seems to use 15-25% less RAM and CPU.

From my memory I could say it starts faster than Cubase and almost as fast as Live, just to make a comparation for others to understand, but I could be wrong. Haven't use those for a long time, since I was working in another studio.

Quick midi cover song test with 2.5. Running well so far. Had to print one track, was almost out of RAM in x64 with 8gb.

Nah. If someone wants a better bass sound they need to show up with a bass player.hibidy wrote:Very nice, but you need trilian
Midi, for this kinda thing anyway, is only really good for mockups. I always advise people doing R&B or whatever to replace as many of their midi tracks with "the real deal" wherever and whenever financially possible.

Nice. Man, what an inviting interface. I can't wait for the new PC to arrive so I can dive in. Thanks for posting that.LawrenceF wrote:Quick midi cover song test with 2.5. Running well so far. Had to print one track, was almost out of RAM in x64 with 8gb.

Seems the kontakt thing was fixed. Seems to handle a lot more cpu wise too. (which I have no clue if it's me or whatever.
Looking forward to getting into it and see how it goes.

Nice. I'm listening to this soothing music while waiting for Steinberg's website to get back online so I can download Cubase7LawrenceF wrote:

Sounds (and looks) really good; thank you for sharingLawrenceF wrote:Quick midi cover song test with 2.5. Running well so far. Had to print one track, was almost out of RAM in x64 with 8gb.
What CPU and MB are you using? What buffer size (latency)? Other system specs?
