 But the money saved it the biggest thing! Why shell out 100+ on booze every month It took me 4 weeks before I felt *anything* other than "today would be a good day for a beer". It does take time for your system to clear out! Hang in there! Stick with it, hibs. I haven't had a drink in nearly five years now, and although I'd love to get drunk at times, it gets much easier after a while.

the bleeding stops, Denise won her workman's comp case for now anyhow...they have to pay her 26 weeks of back pay plus weekly checks now must start...that makes me happy, but also the fact I steered us through this storm.
It's been rough all summer, but it's over. Now she is not mad at me for pushing her to take care of her arm, she has not been paid since June and she said since "I knew I should have kept working with the pain" even though the doctor took her out of work. Her arm is doing well, she can go back to job hunting in another field unless she needs surgery. She has developed ganglion cysts on her wrist from this as well and they have drained them twice, they drain them three times and if they continue after three drainings they operate. Hopefully she will not need surgery but if she does we can afford to live 
BTW we knew this yesterday but right after the good news came the news that the VA is taking money from my SSDI check...the boomerang effect from being elated to livid won out again as usual. That should be resolved as well shortly...I hope. ---- I never learned anything from being right Hink 2012 RIP Reason L. and Ian B |

Today's happy: according to the wound care specialist, if my foot keeps healing at this rate in January I can stop going in for wound care, and start wearing more normal shoes!
