Another winner! I like the atmosphere of the piece, very interesting sound textures, acoustic tones, esoteric vibrations!! Nice work and thanks for making it downloadable!!

Sounds like you found some of that percussion on a submarine. Depth charges or similar munitions, and the odd ping from the sonar. The reverbed piano is certainly melancholy, and the groove at the end with the panned guitar or synth is great.
Good work, Matt

Cheers Neil + Tim!
The found percussion was mostly plastic toys, along with a plastic bottle, a small tin and a toy keyboard that gave one last gasp of high frequency noise as its battery died.
The pinging sound is from this Altiverb IR.
The panned groove at the end is from a recording of my acoustic guitar.

I put on my best sweater and my polyester slacks (polyslax) to get into the mood for this one. It took me a while to warm up to it because there's a little more randomness than I would like. But in the end, I was won over but those amazing sounds. Great job.

I love this one. Thank you.
P.S.-
Somewhere around the three minute area I was reminded of the beginning of this scene:

What, are you dying in there?
(It occurred to me that that could be taken as insulting, but I expect you'll get I don't mean it that way.)

Great piano reverb verging on echo. the deep piano is very ominous. Some of those sounds would make a great beat.
e.g. footstep as kick, scrape as snare...
And then you did it.
The tortured string sound is interesting.
Great Job!
