Hi Kirk
All the samples in my KH libraries including CS2 are aiff files. I understand that you're now using ncw files. Is there a way to batch change them or could I re-download my libraries from you?
Thanks, Patrick.

You can batch re-save. When you do, you can then opt to save patch AND samples. Then make sure you click the "compress samples" option.

Is this recommended or just a personal preference?
Thanx

Which version of TVEC is currently included in CS II? I was not sure from reading the web site pages.
Also, the cs_str_ii page mentions TVEC 5 (I presume that that is replaced by ESA).

Currently, TVEC 4 is included with Concert Strings 2. Also, so is Easy String Arranger.DarkStar wrote:Which version of TVEC is currently included in CS II? I was not sure from reading the web site pages.

Kirk, can you tell me about the CC volume functions incorporated into CS2?
CC7 triggers the main instrument volume slider in K5 as expected, but I can not get CC11 to work on the group edit Amplifier volume knob or get a response from a volume modulator added to the Amplifier. I only need one of those two to work, but I get no response to the volume, EVEN THO THE KNOB AND SLIDER ARE MOVING. Nothing happens. What am I missing here?
The idea is to use the classic MIDI setup of one CC (7) for static overall track volume and the other for subtle changes in volume for individual phrases. What do I need to do to incorporate CC11?
Thanks

Which "group edit Amplifier volume knob are you trying to edit? CC11 already does control volume out of the box, so you should be getting responses from that.palestrina7 wrote:Kirk, can you tell me about the CC volume functions incorporated into CS2?

I'm having an articulation issue with the CS2 Symphonic marcato patch. I'm using the EXS24 version. It seems like the marcato patch loses the quick attack if notes are played in repetition. I'm in the middle of programming Les Mis right now, and just discovered this bug! I don't want to move to a new string patch because I really love the sound of this one. It also happens with fast passages, and there are quite a few of those in the show... Is it a polyphony issue? https://www.dropbox.com/s/e0bzb29nwhz95 ... arcato.mp3 is a link to a sound sample that describes the issue.
