I've searched this forum and could not find.
Can anyone tell me if they have installed Retrologue on Windows XP SP3?
... or am I the last person on the planet running XP??

Edit: Was just having another play with Retrologue on the WinXp machine. It goes really well with Blue Arp.....very cool combination.

Good idea - I'll give it a shot.chk071 wrote:@ Integraton: You could send an e-mail to Steinberg. Pretty sure they will allow you another 30 days trial period.

Both Retrologue and Voltage are 2xOSC synths, Retrologue also got a subosc. Retrologue also feature a much more inviting, hands on and option filled front panel, with bigger possibilies for tweaking:mysticvibes wrote:how does retrologue compare to halionsonic synth modules?

You can do everything in Halion 4/5, that Retrologue can do, although the programming in Halion will be a PITA. They are all based on the same synth engine. Retrologue is just a GUI for the Halion synth section. Same for Voltage, but Voltage is more limited (I have to guess here because I have only Halion 4).mysticvibes wrote:how does retrologue compare to halionsonic synth modules?
But: patches cannot be exchanged between Halion and Retrologue, although it would be technically simple; but Steinberg marketing did not want this.

Quick response from Steinberg US... they referred me to corp HQ. I hope they can help.chk071 wrote:@ Integraton: You could send an e-mail to Steinberg. Pretty sure they will allow you another 30 days trial period.
