Bidule starting up in rewire mode - crashes

All of a sudden Bidule won't run for me anymore - it's starting up in rewire mode but I have no other host running, then crashes (presumably when it can't find a host). I wish I could turn rewire off for good, it's no use to me anyway.

Jeez it's even doing this after a reboot! OS-X Mavericks - latest version.
Is there a way of completely eradicating rewire from a system? - it's nothing but useless crap

You could delete the ReWire.bundles found in these locations:
/Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/ReWire
<your user>/Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/ReWire
Here's the Read Me:
ReWire 1.81
This is the very latest ReWire shared library, this mainly adds 64-bit support
to ReWire meaning that 64-bit applications can now be ReWire mixer.
Please take note that this new version with only work on Intel Macs, this version will
not work at all on PowerPC Macs. This should work for 10.5.8 and following versions
of OS X. Please take note that while this is deemed ready to be released
to the public by Propelleheads, Plogue has no control or way to know if
all ReWire mixers will work exactly the same with regard to ReWire functionalities
with this new version.
In case the rest wasn't clear: IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A NEED FOR THIS, DON'T INSTALL IT!
Installation:
The ReWire.bundle file should be copied into the following folder:
/Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/ReWire
You should normally already have a ReWire.bundle file there, you should
make a backup of that file in case anything goes wrong.
Also take note that you might also have another ReWire.bundle in:
<your user>/Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/ReWire
if you have, you should also make a backup of the existing and copy the
new file there.

There's another ReWire folder here:
Macintosh HD/Applications/Plogue Bidule.app/Resources/ReWireUB/Plogue Bidule Engine.bundle

This is annoying - it looks like I can't eradicate Rewire on my system if I use Live - I went through all my hosts and disabled Rewire but when I got to Live, not only is there no option to disable rewire but it reinstalled it as it was loading
