Yep, this clears it up, thanks. Unfortunately the sale is over now.
I guess it would help if you'd put such kind of information on your homepage.
Rudimentarily it's there, though some more details won't hurt.

Well the Dry examples pretty much convinced me I dont' need it. I can do lots of similar sounds in Synthsquads Cypher or Strobe.musikmachine wrote:Hmmm, guess they don't work weekends! I found some good demos of Vacuum, not pro but lots individual sounds that i guess show the character assuming Pro wasn't changed: https://soundcloud.com/dvinesounds
May help anyone on the fence. Certainly opened my ears a bit.
Also sounds like Aliasing in the Fx example.

Yeah i like the character but felt i could get along with what i've got. Decided to put a little faith in air and bought Loom anyway, never really used an additive and it's a very different flavour to anything in my collection, will be great for sound design.V0RT3X wrote:Well the Dry examples pretty much convinced me I dont' need it. Also got Loom.
It's like Razor but with a different flavour. And a very good flavour, too!

Loom is awesome but it seems to choke in Tracktion 5 when using a midi controller to control the XY

Yeah i feel like there's a lot of potential for unheard sounds with Loom. It's actually one of the most inspiring plugins i've heard in a while.EvilDragon wrote:Also got Loom.

Yep - I think it's also the best sounding pure additive I've come across.musikmachine wrote:Yeah i feel like there's a lot of potential for unheard sounds with Loom. It's actually one of the most inspiring plugins i've heard in a while.EvilDragon wrote:Also got Loom.

Not sure how comparable it is with Razor - in Razor the filters (like in Harmor and Harmless) and even the reverb and fx are all additive too, the filters etc in Loom look more like traditional subtractive ones.

Filters in Loom are also additive. All modules (apart from effects) are just mangling the partials.

The Akai Pro MPK mini MK2 ships with Hybrid bundled (and Wobble): http://www.akaipro.com/product/mpk-mini-mkiimusikmachine wrote: I was gonna mention the 3 for $100 but yeah that's pretty good. Hybrid sounds great from demos, probably more impressed by that than Vacuum but i can't just keep buying plugins lol, trying to save money!
At Amazon it costs just $100 at the moment:
http://www.amazon.com/Akai-Professional ... k+mini+mk2
So basically people in US can pick up Hybrid at 2/3 of the list price and get a free midi keyboard on top

Kinda debating if I should get LuSH-101 or Diva for my analog needs. Right now LuSH-101 is winning because...8 layersBasariStudios wrote:I own Lush-101 and I love that Synth too but I never tried SynthSquad.
For some reason my computer always tells me that I aready used the Demos.
