Been playing around with the demo patches (THANK YOU!!!) and was wondering - is there a way to quickly solo the A and B parts of a sound? I also seem to be running into an issue where turning the gain of a part of the sound all the way down doesn't really get rid of it.
For example, I opened the AR Stop and Staire (which is a VERY cool patch!) but wanted to separate and further control the different elements. So I turned down the gain in both part A and part B, but I still hear the patch playing! Granted its softer, but still making noise. Is this normal? If so, how does one go about isolating the different elements of a patch?
BTW, owning Short Noise 1, I already know how awesome the multis are going to be, but I recommend making one of the free demo patches a multi if possible so others might be able to experience this, as in all honesty these are what got me to buy SN1!

Ok, I now see that the volume on the amp seems to control the volume of the part, but then the question becomes what does the Gain parameter do?
Still think (if possible) a solo part button would be a nice addition - that way I dont have to try to remember the balance of a patch when I just want solo the different elements. It seems option-clicking returns the knobs to I guess 0, and NOT back to their preset states. So if Part A is softer than 0 in the patch, turning it all the way down to solo part B, and then option-clicking does NOT return it back to its preset setting, which makes soloing the A & B parts and returning back to the preset volume settings almost impossible.

Thanks, LGK_Dude, i have thought of this myself before actually, but forgot to implement it.
I´ve just incoorperated a mute button for "A" and "B" so that you can audition the sections independently.
Concerning parameter reset: Currently, when control+clicking on a knob or slider, it will go back to it´s reset-state, not the preset state. I wonder if a "go back to preset state" would make more sense ... hmm.
Multis: They will come, but i´m afraid the initial S2 release will only cover instruments, with multis coming 2-4 weeks later (for free then of course). Still so much work to do that i don´t know where to begin.
Thanks!

New Features implemented:
- Randomize Target (A,B,C,D)
Using this, you can modulate the choosen target randomly per step.
(Instead of using data in the sequencer lanes.)
- Sequencer Fadeout
When this is activated, releasing keys on the keyboard while the sequencer is playing will result in a quick fade. (Any note release will be cut).

Greetings. I just purchased Shortnoise 2 a few days ago and cannot get it to install for the life of me. Every time I try to extract the files from Winzip it says that the "files are corrupted". Is there something I'm missing? Some special method of installing Shortnoise 2 into kontakt 5? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried re-downloading the files? Have you copied and pasted the serial without any spaces or leading trails at the beginning/end?
