the ending was a little sudden. i liked the big sound of the pad but the mix was just "weird" i dunno... like the pads and the lead were done in a hi-fi spatial technique and everything else was a lo-fi mono track added later

Very nice groove factor. I like the first drum track much better than the heavy one. It seemed to blend with the bass line much better than the louder one. Of course the original drum track could come up in the mix. The groove is great - the song needs a vocal hook or a great instrumental hook like from a tenor saxophone or a great synth lead. Good creative work.

Thanks for the observations. I will take them into consideration when I make the final version and expand on the track furtherlayzer wrote:the ending was a little sudden. i liked the big sound of the pad but the mix was just "weird" i dunno... like the pads and the lead were done in a hi-fi spatial technique and everything else was a lo-fi mono track added later

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the feedback man. I might add a few layers to it when I make the full version.Bubbamusic wrote:Very nice groove factor. Hey guys ! I uploaded another slightly edited version of the demo. I think it sounds better. The arrangement isn't final and I still have to work out the ending. Would really appreciate some feedback .

its getting better the parts seem to mesh together much better now. bubba brings up some good points regarding the composition, but that can be worked on. good job!
