The band I'm in (as keyboardist/recording engineer/producer), Eat Crepes, has performed at a local radio station! The footage is available on their website: http://www.wbru.com/category/home-brud/. We're all super excited. It was be tons of fun.

Cool. Maybe a session on national radio next. :)

The footage is out! Due to technical difficulties, the audio is in mono. Due to nervous system difficulties, there are a some interesting notes (let's call them accidentals. It's just jazzy and progressive). However, on the whole, I'm very pleased to present it and the write-up is far too kind. Enjoy.

You cheated! Hardware synth instead of software, sounds really good, more like an album than a live performance.

Great job! The performances were good and you came off very well.

The sound was very good despite being mono. In some cases, the lyrics were clearer on these live versions than the studio versions.

Does this station have a big signal? Did the appearance generate additional interest or album sales?

Note there are 3 live songs and an interview if you follow the link in the original post.

Thanks everyone!

No cheating here (except for the fact that the drums were a backing track heh). Hardware controller, yes, but software synths. I think all of the ones we used for the three songs here were freeware, too. I'm glad it sounded good!

EDIT: I remembered that the bass on Technophobic Ghost Boy was from Dimension Pro. So not all freeware.

This station is one of the major commercial stations of Rhode Island, although not nearly as big as the Top 40 stations. It extends into Southern Massachusetts but stops before Boston. Since the video was only posted today, we'll just have to wait to see if it generates much traffic. If anything, it has enough clout to help us get small gigs locally if we choose to.

This is cool. Turned out well, yes. Was there any audience? Vocalist seems kinda spooked, I wonder what was there before you.

Just a radio station and some people with cameras, but that was scary enough. This was our first time doing anything like this.
