Hello guys... so, we have some new products at the amp store:
We've released some brutal new content to the Amp Store yesterday! First off is the ANGEL amp...as in ANGL.... The ANGEL PBII is a Versatile amp with 4 channels spanning chiming cleans, a powerful crunch & 2 rich, high gain channels with a solo defining mid focus switch, dual master volumes & a noise gate. To complement the ANGEL, we have also released 3 ANGEL cab models - The ANGEL Retro 412 Straight, ANGEL Standard 412 Straight and the ANGEL Classic 210 Combo.
To top it all off, we have also released The Metal Bundle. The Metal Bundle features 4 of the most sought-after amps in metal. Whether your sound is brutal modern metal, epic power metal, or the blackest of black metal, this bundle delivers. Includes: 6505+, 3120, Angel PBII, Demon, The Black Death and Käften.
The following video has some 'angelical' sounds in it. Check it out!

Thanks, Jacare. Appreciate the update. Powerball is not my cup of tea but glad to see you are making new amps.
A few I'd love to see in order are Rivera K/Tre Knucklehead (would be awesome as no one has touched this much like the Diezel emulation), Framus Dragon or Cobra, Soldano SLO-100, VHT/Fryette Ultralead, Bogner Ecstasy. Also a Triple Recto would be nice and of course every great amp collection has a JCM 800. That's for starters...Please keep em coming!

It is sure that we will keep amps and other content coming. I will add those you suggested to our list of requests. Thanks for the interest!

I'm very tempted!
How does a plugin like this compare to an actual hardware set up. From the video it sounds pretty damn good...

My advice would be: Demo it, but spend some time with the software .Robmobius wrote:I'm very tempted!

A friend used to say when I overcomplicated things: Sounds good? Then it's good.

I tried the 3rd party AU plugin hosting module inside the R4 demo.
Really neat idea for live rigs, although I'd never need it for use inside a host, so I don't know how important this matter is...
On transport stop/start inside Reaper, the contained plugins (tested with LoudMax, Duende Bus Comp, Focusrite Midnight EQ) totally stopped working, went absolutely dead and passed no more audio. Bypassing/un-bypassing the Plugin loader didn't help, only un-loading the plugins and re-loading them would bring them back to life.
Did I do anything wrong?
Also, the Amp Store button doesn't seem to do much... just brings up a window that checks for my iLok, then gives me buttons to redeem a code and download purchases, but there's no actual Amp Store anywhere.
And what about a "make your own bundle" or "dynamic discount" feature like other products have?
The more you buy in one swig, the higher the discount and the bigger the incentive to top the purchase up in order to reach the "next level" of reduction.

I don't work here, I just feed the trolls.

A more general Revalver 4 question: Is it just me, or does anyone else find the gain staging weird and fussy?
