I'm kind of new to the world of digital music, but I have a basic setup. A midi compatible keyboard, an M-Audio X Session Pro which has some useful faders and knobs, and a laptop. Now all I need is software. I am looking for something free.
I already have LMMS, and I have learned to use it, however I am looking for something more suited for live performance and looping.
Any suggestions?

Usine has free versions.

Maybe better suited for more experimental stuff than straight looping, deep, but may take a bit of time to get into (since it's modular).

Thanks, for the suggestions!
I've actually had mobius in the past, but I didn't really know how to use it, so I uninstalled it. Do you know anywhere I could find some tutorials?
