A little known law exists here is Hollywood that if a composer of film, game or TV who gets that full time gig and becomes financially successful, gets a literal free pass to illegally share any and all sample libraries and related music software that he/she pleases with other financially successful composers, even though they now could easily afford anything of that sort that they could ever desire.

Buck Dharma originally wrote a song called "Don't Fear the Reamer" that was inspired by his ex-wife. When the song tanked, BOC later reworked it into the timeless "Don't Fear the Reaper", which was also inspired by his ex-wife.
