AlgoMusic instruments are now freeware

I will attempt a topic about this one more time.
Here they are:
http://westgatesounds.net/AlgoMusic/index.html
Since the last topic, I have put a stop to the porn spam and re-instated the page above on Google (someone had it taken down, falsely). Enough.
These instruments are wonderful, and it is only through the good graces of Dr. Ambient (Guido) that they are now set free to serve not only as a memory of those passed but also inspiration for things to come.
I will once again make this offer - if anyone wants to contribute any resources for these instruments, I will gladly host them. I will also work on making free soundsets/presets for the M42 in the near future. Following that, is getting to know the M51.
The free sounds/presets will always be in the spirit of TimC.
Whatever else I come up with, well - that will always be me making things work with the sounds I create.
One last time.... Can we make something good come out of this?

Many thanks to you and Dr. Ambient for your generosity. I bought M42 back in the day from Algo Music and really loved it.

And once again, I have slept for a few hours since posting this and now have had to remove the HGFortune memorial soundsets due to over 70 Gb of traffic downloading these 2 files repeatedly from the same IP address....
This is how you honour the dead....

Perhaps you could contact a moderator or admin here and check the ip address against kvr members?dnekm wrote:And once again, I have slept for a few hours since posting this and now have had to remove the HGFortune memorial soundsets due to over 70 Gb of traffic downloading these 2 files repeatedly from the same IP address....

Or just post the ip address and maybe some amateur detectives here will find out who is responsible.
Such a shame.

that is f**king outrageous..pm me the ip, I've got a few suspects in mind.
Not that I know of anything kvr could do..at the least, report it to their provider.

In a way I hope it's not someone from kvr, but if it is, they should be named and shamed before being banned for life.
Surely these loony toons types are not the sort of people we want to be rubbing shoulders with.
Do you know which country the ip is from?

Yes, but there is little point in revealing it. A person would have to be an idiot to launch a ddos attack from their own ip address....

Chris and Electric - you are both welcome. Sorry for the bs along the way with this topic.
I just want to say I am glad that it seems a lot of people are getting to check these instruments out. This is being done with the intent to honour those who made these instruments possible. The M42 was the very first VSTi I had ever purchased.

Put up a new free sf2 file - M42dnekm3-Vox.
20 all vocal sounds from the sf2 files of Paule Amca. No presets or preset bank, just the sf2 file.
