Fxpansion Etch users - help with LFO phase

Hi, having some difficulty with the phase of LFO. Mapping LFO1 to filter cutoff and playing with phase but LFO seems to start in the same place every time. I cant tell if the LFO is neing retrigged whilst in Sync mode - i dont believe it is

Also when i stop and start the song the LFO phase then seems to move to a new start point if that makes sense? Im using Live 9.1.7

can anyone else try playing with LFO phase and see whats happening or explain to me what im doing wrong?
