Simple and straightforward. Big, banging 140 bpm trancer.

Hi there,
Gave this a listen,
+
FX at 54s very cool sounding
Some interesting drum breaks here and there.
Main lead source sound is edgy and nice.
-
Initial FX at 26/27secs too loud.
Other source sounds quite lacking,
Hats seem to not gel very well with the overall flow of the track.
Source sounds are too dry (for trance) almost everywhere.
Main kick does not "thump" like a 140 trance banger should.
Overall mixing balance and EQ still need a lot of work.
Pad frequencies clashing with main lead at 3:08s mark
Sorry but it's not a winner, in my opinion.
Listening environment was semi treated room on an Echo Indigo IO with Neumann KH120 Nearfield monitors so fairly accurate.

thanks for feedback
Well, still learning.Hats seem to not gel very well with the overall flow of the track.
What do you mean by "dry"? What is missing?Source sounds are too dry (for trance) almost everywhere.
I can't imagine it any better. The track works nicely when mixed with other tracks.Overall mixing balance and EQ still need a lot of work

Dry as in you don't have the big trancy atmospheres. You definitely need to add more reverb. I'm sure you listen to plenty of the 140 bpm stuff but listen to some of your favorites closely and you'll notice the huge atmospheres with plenty of reverb.DJ Warmonger wrote:thanks for feedback
