i have been a year away and now the plugin seems to be part of a shell plugin. What do i do to upgrade my VCC? Will it overwrite my old VCC instances. Thanks everybody!!!

cyphersuit: the VCC2 upgrade is free. It does NOT overwrite your VCC1 plugins; you can continue to use them. The "shell" (Virtual Mix Rack) is free also (Slate sells the modules, but the "rack" is free). In your Slate user area there should be a file for download that installs the whole thing -- VCC2 and VMR. There are install/authorization (iLok2) instructions on the VCC download page.
