I'm looking for a sample of an Roland JX-1 synth, an organ to be specific.

What a coincidence: I was just connecting my Roland JX-1 Synth in my home studio after not using it for some years. Reason was a song called: "Felix - Don't you want me" I heard on youtube (golden oldie)

and I remembered that the sound on 0:46 was exactly the same as the rock organ sound on the Roland JX-1. I'll bet my ass that they used this synth to make this song!
I Can't give you the synth but I can make a sample bank from 8 octaves of the synth.

Hi Everybody,

As per request: Here are some samples from the "Rock Organ" preset from the Roland JX-1!
Al sampled dry at 320KBps 44.100KHz (Hi Quality) (Trust me: it's good)

at velocity 110.

When sampling I heard that the "real" JX-1 Rock Organ Preset was sampled too because I could clearly hear the change in sound when going upwards on the keyboard. The sample pack contains al the tones where the change was heard, so I think you'll have pretty much the real deal when playing it on your favourite sampler. (velocity layers was to much work, but he, when recreating the "Felix - Don't you want me" sound you don't need them.

Delete the space between ROLAND and %. Then it should be fine.

For everybody's knowledge: 2 Unlimited (90's) used a lot of sounds from the infamous JX-1 for their songs.
A nice example is the lead sound from their track: "Magic Friend".

It's a synth string preset with a lot of vibrato.

Man this is really annoying to a point of throwing a tantrum

I thought that I found it on a site that offers kontakt samples but NOPE, ofcourse the link is broken.

So I think it would be really appreciated if somebody who downloaded it initially could reupload:)

I know it's a very late reply but I don't visit these forums so often. And yeah I got my hands on somebody's youtube video , who played the rif. But in the man time I also have a jx1 vsti made by beat machines
