Mux as Vst ... in HAlion 5 there a a lot chords under triggerpads, but there is no note -on/off when the notes are playing on the HALion5 keyboard : they cannot be recorded as it seems.
In Cubase you can drag the chords under the pads to Cubase and the chords showing up in the key editor if i am correct, but this is not working for MUlab.
I constructed a chord from HAlion 5 with one of the modules in MUX editor: note mapper
I try to record the chord notes in Mulab, but still Mulab records the triggernote for the chord.
Is there module to find what records the chord notes ?

I used a event recorder in a Rack to record the note output of HALion5 together with a note mapper combined in a MUX preset and Mulab added a second track with the recorded chord notes.
Is this also working for the MUX vsti in the host composer..no ..the composer is not adding a second track with the recorded notes like in MUlab
I don't see yet how i can achieve this yet in the composer with MUX vsti.. the midi output of midi channel 1 must be routed to a second midi channel and recorded there..can for this build a MUX preset ?
Perhaps i can get the modules out the rack and use a midi splitter for a second midi channel ?

Im not sure I can answer your question though as I am unsure what exactly you are trying to acheive ?

No, a VST cannot automatically create tracks in its host. When using the event recorder in MUX VST it creates a new sequence in MUX memory space, which can be used by the MUX VST sequence player module and/or which can be saved as a MIDI file via the sequence's context menu via the project browser.janhardo wrote:I used a event recorder in a Rack to record the note output of HALion5 together with a note mapper combined in a MUX preset and Mulab added a second track with the recorded chord notes.

Hi bibz1st
I try to record the chord notes attached under the chord triggerpads for some sounds in HALion5 in the host composer
In MUlab itself i can record the chordnotes from HALion5 on a second track (automatic added by Mulab )
The picture is the MUX preset for in MUlab and with this i can record chord notes from the whole chord.
For Mulab itself the chord notes recording are not needed, because you can record with one note the chord, but in the another composer what i do want to use, it needs all the chord notes to make there chord progressions.
So i try to record the chordnotes in the composer ..for that it is maybe possible to construct a MUX preset for the composer to record the chordnotes on a second midi track?
I hope you get now a idea..?

Because the composer works with midi notes what are processed by the inbuilt musical Artificial Intellicence (Synfire magic..) i must record the midi output from midi channel 1
It does this in MUX VST ...
The note editor in the composer is not reflecting the real midi notes for a chord and if i could record the real midi notes output for the chord in the composer
But perhaps there is function for this too in the composer ?
I must try this out in the composer.
Ok Thanks!

Hope you get where you need to be, might be a long way round but why dont you create those midifiles in Mulab and then import into Synfire.
Is Synfire actually needed for what you require ?
Do you have full version of Mulab ?

Yes, i decided now to record the chords in the composer by hand ..most easy also and forget MUX vsti for this.
Synfire has a library of midi phrases to compose and i am still in the learning process of composing with it and in the hands of a skillful composer, there is probably no limit in what you can do with it. ( ask for a demo : there is light version : Synfire express and pro version: Synfire Pro , see on their site a comparison of features)
I do have also a full version of Mulab.
Still under development Synfire, so it was a rather expensieve program ( but i won 1000 euro on online casino ), but to sell it seems to be no problem yet.

I have used now the 16 midi rack MUX from @Taron ( again thanks for this MUX preset ) in Mulab itself with HAlion sounds loaded in the racks.
The keyboard of HAlion5 doesn't match with that one of Mulab : one octave .. how to correct this?
Is there a module for this to find ?

Thanks!
I edit it and the two keyboards are matching now ..makes it now easy to use the chords under the triggerpads in HALion5 in the MUlab keyeditor.
Has the note mapper also use here ?
