Thank George, good result. Probably ideally need link S and E markers to the same makro knob (after a predetermined milliseconds S\E space). This will be the closest to standart granulator. In any case, cool feature. (Should note, not each vst sampler can automate start\end markers).George wrote:You could some some tips on the video below

Will Discovery Pro import the Bliss exported zbp files/banks at some future date?
That would be a great capability! How about importing Bliss exported sfz files?
Cheers

Yeah, that is very likely to happen. Discovery Pro already has sfz playback but only for PAD re-synthesized files. This will be enhanced on the future.glokraw wrote:Will Discovery Pro import the Bliss exported zbp files/banks at some future date?

Are the exported .SFZ files also FLAC 24-bit?George wrote:Bliss programs / banks get saved in FLAC 24-bit. We will eventually add 24-bit WAV export support.

This is very cool. I'll look forward to this. I've been interested in Discovery Pro for a long time and this would push me to finally get it.George wrote:Yeah, that is very likely to happen. No, just 16-bit at the moment but of course 24-bit is planned. Right now FLAC 24-bit is for Bliss internal programs and banks.Uncle E wrote:Are the exported .SFZ files also FLAC 24-bit?

hmm, that's not good. I think I will wait until 24-bit .SFZ before I start doing serious work with it.George wrote:No, just 16-bit at the moment but of course 24-bit is planned. Right now FLAC 24-bit is for Bliss internal programs and banks.
Is it possible to make this a high priority? It seems like an easy thing to add and I personally think it makes a huge difference.

re: 24-bit resolution
So here's another vote for 24-bit resolution asap.
PS: Of course, I still can't use Bliss in Bitwig or Ardour. Patiently waiting for Bliss beta v2.
Best,

It may indeed may not seem like a big deal to some, but I switched to 24-bit 48K production files a long time ago, and I too find 16-bit dynamics resolution to be audibly less than optimal.Uncle E wrote:Is it possible to make this a high priority? Small manual revision to get it ready for Beta 2, a spell check and minor but valuable additions http://www.discodsp.net/pdf/bliss.pdf
