I hope this fits in here, I'm usually hanging around in the Development subforum.
I'm currently working on a website that might be of interest for you KVR folks. It'll be about in-depth technical audio knowledge from the perspective of a developer, but hopefully understandable without an engineering degree.
To make sure I'm on the right track with the content I'm preparing I made a little survey, and it would help me a lot if you could just head over there for a second, it's just two questions. It'll also let you subscribe to my email list (if you want), so you can stay up to date and be the first to know when everything goes live.

The first question right out of the gate was too vague and I didn't have a good answer for it and didn't feel like spending much time to consider it in greater depth. I noticed it was a mandatory response, so I just gave up on the whole survey instead. Be careful with how much time and effort you ask of random internet strangers who are basically doing you a favor by responding to your survey with no real compensation other than the possibility of some future website to visit.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Thanks again, the answers were really helpful! And meanwhile I'm a few steps further with creating my new blog. It'll go live on http://science-of-sound.net on January 9th 2016. There's also a useful little plugin to get for free if you subscribe to my (hopefully very helpful, no-spam) email newsletter.
