MXXX Bug - Adding Modules Removes Curve Based Modulation

Bit complicated, best explained with repro steps:
-Start a new MXXX with nothing in it
-Add a transformer effect
-Use the modulator 'learn' and move the curve tension on the transformation graph
-Click the modulator so it finishes learning and starts moving the curve tension
-Hear the sound change as you would expect
-Now add another module like a 'utility' after the transform
-Notice the curve tension modulator is no longer working
Oh, this is in the 9.17 beta, hopefully it's not a new bug.
Thanks

aaand it's actually worse than I thought, I can get Reaper to pretty reliably crash by trying to work around this by adding additional modulation sources and enabling the curve tension modulator. There's definitely something funky about this part of the code.
