I currently own Live 8 with a licence of Sampler and M4L.
I've been shown a price of £89 to upgrade to Live 9, which seems like quite a good deal.
Does anybody know if I'll retain my Sampler and M4L licences if I upgrade to Live 9 Standard.
The upgrade to Suite is £209, which is also not so bad but I just don't need all the stuff it comes with.

They should still work. You may need to reauthorise M4L and Sampler within L9, cant remember.
