While adding one more preference or forwarding the information from the host would not be ideal (this information does not exist in non-VST3 hosts), and I guess most plug-ins just do not implement it either), I think we can safely default this mode to "linear" - who uses circular modes anymore btw?!?
What do you think?

well, I'd be all for it, but of course I can't speak for everybody.

PS:
Bypass in Fabfilter ProQ2 VST3 does not seem to work...
But man, Sidechaining VST2 Compressors in Patchwork is such a treat! Love it!

The next update should have this included. BTW what is exactly the issue with ProQ2 bypass?

Thanks for the video! We already have a fix for the bypass issue.
For the Softube crashes, have you tried disabling undo tracking for this plug-in (plugin menu/remove track undo). Some plug-ins may not always work properly with undo.
