Thanks for the video, that's helpful!

While adding one more preference or forwarding the information from the host would not be ideal (this information does not exist in non-VST3 hosts), and I guess most plug-ins just do not implement it either), I think we can safely default this mode to "linear" - who uses circular modes anymore btw?!?

What do you think?

Post

well, I'd be all for it, but of course I can't speak for everybody.
don't want to be the cause of a lynch-mob or something :-)

PS:
Bypass in Fabfilter ProQ2 VST3 does not seem to work...

But man, Sidechaining VST2 Compressors in Patchwork is such a treat! Love it!

Post

The next update should have this included. BTW what is exactly the issue with ProQ2 bypass?

Post

I use linear.

Thanks for telling us. I guess that's what most people use nowadays

Thanks for the video! We already have a fix for the bypass issue. :-)

For the Softube crashes, have you tried disabling undo tracking for this plug-in (plugin menu/remove track undo). Some plug-ins may not always work properly with undo.

Post

thanks for the hint, but unfortunately it does not help with Saturation Knob.

We now have a fix for this one too - should be available soon :-). Thanks for the report!
