Hi, i'm remaking an instrumental of james blake's retrograde and i'm not quite sure on how to synthesize the riser fx which happens right before the chorus synth kicks in at 1:41. Happens again at 2:05 and 2:32 mark. Wondering if any sound designers could help me out?
Also, i used a single osc pulse wave for the chorus synth, if that info helps.

Not sure what he used but just had to say this song has haunted me with it's brilliance since it came out. his voice.. the composition.. has to be one of my favourite songs of all time. The riser to me does sound like a moog or analog synth of some kind.

Here's a tutorial - it's 3 different saw waves with a slow pitch attack, coming from different starting pitches: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoD2URJ6NJk

I think there is a preset on the Prophet 08 called "Come Together" which sounds quite like it (and he seems to use that synth). I sold my P08, so I can't tell for sure.
