Lagging MIDI in MuLab

Now I'm kind of rusty when it comes to playing keys, but I do have a little rhythm. That being said when I play back notes in the piano roll its always off beat. Then when I click "Quantize Notes" it gets even worst, but I have to fix it (the notes) with the mouse. I always play with the metronome on, and I sound decent. But when I stop and play it back it sounds like a drunk man got a hold of my MIDI controller. Is It Just Me

How much ASIO latency are you getting? Anything over about 10ms can start to throw your timing (depending how sensitive you are). If you turn off grid for recording, are you off by a constant amount?
Try putting an audio recorder just before the main audio out and then playing back the recorded audio. Does that sound like what you thought you were hearing when recording?
