I can't understand VU meter calibration on this one :/
I use VUMT and PSP TripleMeter in front of it.
all of them are set at -18db
in this scenario while VUMT and PSP neelde jump around -4 AS-Rack needle is all the way up and doesn't move at all. Te make it usable I have to adjust As-Rack Pad knob which makes signal very quiet.
I don't like this at all.

Sure I can and I did it. I set it to -6 and it's still unusable still need to adjust Pad knobsoulone82 wrote:It´s strange, innit?Detch wrote:I can't understand VU meter calibration on this one :/
You can calibrate the VU meter, though.
Also there is one more thing. When I set Show Stereo Width in the Exciter module the whole DAW looses FPS, everything getting slow and glitchy, but it doesn't affect the sound. Does anyone else have this? I uce Cubase 8.5.20 x64

On Studio One v3.2.3 here also. No crashes for me, but the plugs takes an absolute age to initialise and display, hanging S1 in the process. I'm guessing that there is a compatibility issue with the plugs' graphics coding and S1.hodshonf wrote:i'm getting crashes with Studio One v3.2.3
just an FYI.
I personally don't like any of these these plugs, not even for $39. The Pultec-type EQ is particularly awful.
Pass.
Why won't you delete this account as I have requested Ben ?

I am also experiencing some anomalies regarding the GUI. REAPER 64 bit.
These new NF plugins seem to be as poorly coded as the old ones. Which is the reason I have stopped using them a long time ago...

I'm also using Reaper 64 bit on Windows and haven't noticed anything unusual so far, what kind of anomalies did you experience?soulone82 wrote:I am also experiencing some anomalies regarding the GUI. REAPER 64 bit.

When using the mousewheel to adjust stepped knobs it doesn´t let me turn it back when on either end (on the Pultec for instance). The frequency response graph on the state EQ jumps when adjusting values.

Hi all!
Please note, the demo download link has been updated. You may download here - http://download.plugivery.com/pvdl/?do= ... ack&bid=39
Let me address a few comments here in the one post...
These are newly coded plug-ins, no rehashing of old plug-ins (we'll be updating those through the year end). Copy protection is serial based, these new plug-ins are not on the old Nomad Factory site (we'll be updating that in the coming months too!).
For those experiencing validation issues on Mac for Logic and Pro Tools, this is a permissions issue with your Nomad Factory folder. Please follow these instructions...
-----
For Logic:
Launch Logic and then check validation for the plug-ins in the plug-in manager, accessed from your "Logic" menu.
This should resolve your validation issue!
-----
For Pro Tools:
Launch Pro Tools and you will see the plug-ins now scan correctly.
-----
@soulone82, the EQ plot has a 12dB range for the y axis, please see the diagrams at the back of the manual for details. As for the mouse wheel issue, thanks, reproduced and reported to the developers.
@Detch, we'll be looking into adjusting the ballistics of the VU's. Thanks! Please kindly send me a support ticket for the FPS graphics issue you are seeing, I was only able to repro this one time in Pro Tools when moving the mouse over the GUI the meters and Transport timers would act slow. We may need to port to using OpenGL for graphics as they are held albeit separate in the GUI thread, but this will take some time.
@RockinMillie, please send a support ticket detailing your issue with initialisation. Thanks!
Please kindly report any issues through our support portal. Include your full system specs, description and repro steps, plug-in format, etc... http://help.nomadfactory.com

I see, the range of the y-axis gets doubled if necessary. Thanks for the info, didn´t notice it in the manual...Ashley_Plugivery wrote:the EQ plot has a 12dB range for the y axis
EDIT: Alt double-click on the exciter´s meters crashes REAPER. This happens with the latest AS Rack update.
I am wondering if you guys are beta-testing the plug-ins at all, since bugs that I am finding after 5 minutes of dabbling make it in the final release.

Please kindly log a support ticket with your details (required) and we'll investigate any/all issues you have, they may well be systematic (of your particular setup) and/or DAW related and plug-in format. I am unable to repro this on my test bed systems (Mac 10.8.5, 10.10.5, 10.11.3, Win 7, 8.1 and 10 all with multiple DAWs for ref). We test...
Alt + Single Click is the operation for resetting the meters.

i'm new to nomad, so if it's old code... ah well.
it sounds pretty good.
and low CPU
i'm good with it for $39.
