Hey there
I am looking for good samples of "no answer" and "busy" phone tones (as of when you calling someone and they don't pick up or line is busy. Can somebody recommend any? Thank you.

See "Phone Tones" chapter in Andy Farnell's "Designing Sound" for ideas on doing so.BertKoor wrote:... or synthesize them yourself!

Thank you for your replies. Don't have much time or interest in making them. It looks like the samples on free site mostly for busy signal. I need "no answer" signal- like when you dial the number and nobody answers- you hear long sounds that equal in pitch. I just had an argument with the partner because he says- it should be called "Dial tones". No- the dial tones are sounds of different pitch corresponding to individual digits. How ever you calling it the States- I am looking for long tones when nobody answers. Thank you again.

Here the tones for trying to get connected and busy line are the very same. Only the duration is different.
so cut up a 100ms section, edit as neatly zero crossing loop, and you can play them both on a keyboard. Timing is not that critical...

i have no idea what a "no answer" sound is. it just rings normally until voice mail picks up or you hang up.
i think what you want is a "ringing tone". different parts of the world have different sounds for this so id suggest doing a search for that and pick the one you like best. i found a bunch.
or...you could just call someone you know wont answer and record it...which is what i would do.
