About Echo

Hi,
I am totally new to ZynAddSubFX. When I pressed a key on Piano or Drum, the sound is of high quality but for each sound I hear echo.
Are all sounds created this way. Is there any way to turn off the Echo effect for each sound.

I was checking the software and figured it out. In presets, it was selected as Cathedral 1. When I selected basement, there was no Echo effect.
