Cool stuff ! it sounds..... technological
Very good organ lead that holds together everything, like a magic glue
Cheers

Be afraid, be very afraid. The IoT scares the $%^* out of me. $700 Juicemakers, Wifi kettles that take 11 hours to boil water, hacked fridges that show porno movies, and drones delivering contraband to prisons. It's all coming our way, in fact it's already here.
Cool video, and the music seems to build in intensity, partly due to the percussion and the reverb FX, and partly due to the busier organ lines towards the end.
I'm guessing that there will be a Part 2
Good work

The composition is short but effective. I am not convinced the soft organ sound is the best instrument to convey the idea of machines. The organ sometimes recedes behind the punchy drums and other sounds in the mix. The video looks professional.
Good job overall.

fun track! i liked the non standard time sig to go with the quirkiness.
i kind of agree with Frantz about the organ, perhaps a tuned sampled
instrument made from a bucket of bolts getting knocked around might have
been a better choice? haa thanks for the fun sized snack, John!

Neat track, and a really cool, professional-grade video as well! I'm not sure how I feel about the issue of the organ. I think it works for me, although I would also be curious about hearing an alternate version with some different instrumentation substituted in. Great work in any case!

Thanks Laguna Rising! I wanted it to sound technological but also a bit wacky (perhaps circus like...). Machines are coming, but not there yet...Laguna Rising wrote:Cool stuff ! it sounds..... technological

Thanks Tim! Yes I know what you mean. All our communication and fences will have to be digital!!seismic1 wrote:Be afraid, be very afraid. Thanks Frantz, The organ is meant to be wacky rather like these machines rather than menacing. I'll have another listen it, especially in regard to it receding. Thanks for you thoughts!Frantz wrote:The composition is short but effective. I am not convinced the soft organ sound is the best instrument to convey the idea of machines. Thanks layzer. I like your idea of the bucket of bolts... Maybe that will be part 10.... Non standard time signatures are one of my favourite things... Cheers.layzer wrote:fun track! i liked the non standard time sig to go with the quirkiness.

Thanks David, I have one more version, at least, in the pipeline... I am enjoying the idea of using one idea and milking it for a few versions...davidstiles wrote:Neat track, and a really cool, professional-grade video as well! Enjoyed the track, I thought the organ suited it, it didn't seem mechanical but more playful, which is the vibe I got from the video also, nice work

Thanks dark-i. Yes, this one is meant to be playful, helpful, but a bit awkward...dark-i wrote:Enjoyed the track, I thought the organ suited it, it didn't seem mechanical but more playful, which is the vibe I got from the video also, nice work
