hello, i wanted to know for a very long time how do people make that sound.
as an example a few tracks from timewriter and spiritchaser:

in this particular track those stabs start almost at beginning on go on ,
and:

here similar filtered modulated stabs start at around 45 sends,
but particularly im interested in sound that hits at around 2.02, a smooth swoosh
if i would know better id guessed it was processed by vocoder, i hear a lto of similar sounds in a lot of timewriters wok, and Stan kolevs earlier tracks.

Those stabs seem to be chords played by an electric piano with some EQ and reverb.
About the sound at 2:02, too much is happening at that moment so hard to say anything about it.
Timewriter is great btw, check also his album "Diary Of A Lonely Sailor" from 2002.
