Single cycle waveforms : no looping during audition + some loops not working during playback

Hello! I am working with single cycle waveforms (coming from a commercial source for this exact purpose) in which the loops are already embedded in them.
My first question is around auditioning them in the browser. It seems that the loops are no being processed therefore I only have a millisecond worth of sound going whenever making a selection. Is there a way to audition with the loops?
Secondly, there are some samples where the loops don't seem to work at all by default when loading an layer.
I am playing around with the loop parameters but Ideally the loops should be on out of the box since there is such a great variety of samples .
It seems to work fine in another sampler I am also testing so wondering if there is anything I should be doing differently?
Many thanks,

No, the file browser plays without loops, though to be fair I can see the use case for looped play there as well. I'll take that as a feature request.
I am unsure however what you mean by the second statement though. Do you mean the loops are not assigned, or do you mean that the play back wrong?
Easiest is if you provide the offending samples and a step-by-step instructions to reproduce the problem.

Thanks for your reponse. It seems that the demo waveforms from this site do not loop properly.

I have tried in other samplers and they work fine out of the box. In your case I have to play around to get the loops going.Other waveforms seem to work fine.. Thanks!

Actually now it's like the loops form most of my samples aren't enabled while adding the waves. It might be my lack of understanding of the functionality although I am sure that at some point they worked right after selecting. Thanks,

Well, these WAV files don't contain any loop information, so it is no surprise that they don't assign any when loaded. I checked the raw data even, they only contain 'fmt' and 'DATA' chunks, i.e. they are as bare bone as can be. Which is perhaps not surprising as I believe these are intended for use cases like absynth and similar synths. Not samplers.
