Yoy bass
...and while not strictly synth sounds, that autotune robot voice that's been doing the rounds since Cher in 1998 - sounded shite then and...guess what?...still sounds shite now.
Oh and that current trend for those portamento vocal stabs as heard from about 0:50 here...

Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

So we have a plan for the next number one. It's got pitbull rapping with a Donk bass line, a chip tune intro jump as the break down and a few hoover stabs for fun.
I'm half way they already I have a Scoused (you've been donked) 1.30 loop in cubase of JUMP... SYLENTH 1 of course. With some tape stops and stutters. I just need to import a chip break beat and slow it down from another track I've made, a rave track at 170 BPM and we is a lil further on...
Just bought the EDM Voices expansion in NEXUS too so i'm all over those Porta Vocal Leads. And plenty of Super Saws. Lets do this!!!

I owned a TR505 and improvised my guitar with it and a tape recorder. But hey, Toontrack Superior didn't exist and it was better than nothing. Oh and I used it as a metronome too.Roman Empire wrote:Roland TR-707 AOT80s (all over the 80s), a satanic instrument:

Why not? Back then it (both 505 and 707) sounded great! I guess the reason why I don´t like it anymore is because it seems to be a drum machine which tries to sound like real drums, but does a very bad job at it. Unlike 808 and 909 that are so obviously nothing close to real drums, that their sound is more timeless.Daimonicon wrote:I owned a TR505 and improvised my guitar with it and a tape recorder. Donk was the Bolton sound. Whereas Scouse House was something completely different while still being exactly the same.mitchiemasha wrote:I'm half way they already I have a Scoused (you've been donked)
