If Apple didn't f***ed with the new MBP configuration.... and ports...
I could have just jump in before my new PC laptop. :bang:
Yeah I hear you on that. I waited to buy a new macbook only to be thoroughly disappointed by the new design. So, I just bought a maxed out 2015 MBP from Macsales.com. An improvement to my 2012 MBP and lighter. It's the perfect laptop for audio. As it's a certified refurb unit from Apple I saved some serious money and it came with the full Apple warranty and is Applecare-eligible. I would've purchased it directly from Apple but didn't want to pay $200 in taxes on it. Just an option. :)
Guess what....
I did jump! I could not find a refurbished 2015 top of the line MBP.
I went to the Apple Store and they were selling only the 2016 model.
Then a week ago passing by to get a new iPad I saw the 2015 model again in store.
They told me that the request of the old model was overwhelming.
I played with Logic for about half hour.... Got the MBP 2015.
Waiting to be delivered.
Logic.... Quite impressive, and for the money it's just ridiculous.
Happy to get my Alchemy 1.7 updated :D
MuLab-Reaper of course :D

Glad to hear it, bro. :)

I'm loving it so far. Running Logic with Sierra and it's rock-solid. It's really sad what happened with the new 2016 model. I'm for little aesthetic touches like the glowing icon on the back, the start-up chime, mag-safe adapters, and you know, ports...

Thank you for leading my thought toward the refurbish side that eventually got me to a brand new MBP.
I haven't been so exited about a laptop in a very long time.

A MAC SE was my first music computer running Digital Performer....
Back To Mac :D
