We (italians) used to sing:Zombie Queen wrote:"Ouch, I could've die in your arms tonight,
It must've been something I ate."
I don't think, it sounds like that, but that's how I always hear it.
When I'm with you baby, I go out of my head,
and I just can't get it up, I just can't get it up.

I never quite knew what Michael Jackson was singing; seemed like some manner of Cocteau Twins stylee made up language as far as I could tell. I heard 'Smooth Criminal' yesterday and thought about this. Now the google tells me he's singing;
Annie are you ok?
Are you ok Annie?
I always had it as being;
Honey do you want chip?
Do you want chip honey?
Ruined it for me.
Annie are you ok?
Are you ok Annie?
I always had it as being;
Honey do you want chip?
Do you want chip honey?
Ruined it for me.

A little something for the German readers:
"Ahhhh Glykol, ahhh Glyko-hohohol... Bochum."
Und:
"Dein ist mein ganzes Herz, du bist mein Reibungsschmerz..."
(Letzteres führte zu endlosen frühpubertären Grübeleien darüber, wie ein Reibungsschmerz wohl entstehen könnte)

In 7th grade, a red-eared friend of mine asked in a hushed voice:
"You know, in Thriller, at the end of the song... does he really say: 'and though you f**k to stay alive' ?"
I told him: "that's absolutely correct."

Earlier today, here in central London, I heard a busker singing James Taylor's You've Got a Friend :
"To frighten off even the ducky's nuts"
A few hours later, another busker on the South Bank, is singing David Gray's Babble On ...

Wait a minute. Thriller was released world-wide in November 2, 1983. That's 34 years ago. One is about 12-13 years old in grade 7. Assuming you heard Thriller in 1983... you are about 46?ariston wrote:In 7th grade, a red-eared friend of mine asked in a hushed voice:

As long as we're on JT mis-heard bird lyrics, why would someone shower an eagle who's in love with love?garryknight wrote:Earlier today, here in central London, I heard a busker singing James Taylor's You've Got a Friend :

Wouldn't that mess up its feathers and distract it from its meta-love-fest?
