I can't seem to find a quality powered HUB for my USB keyboards and iPad. I've bought a couple that are powered but they don't charge my iPad (though they do charge my iPhone). I had another one that was causing kernal panics. Ready to spring for a quality hub now! O, and I have an iPad Air 2...

thank you!

I bought a 4 port USB3 hub by Inateck last year, which works fine with my Win laptop. I have Push, ReMote SL and Microbrute connected to it. It cost about £20 iirc, but is no longer available (on amazon). I looked at more expensive options, but they all seem similar. Here's a link anyway ...

The hub I have has a charging port, and claims to charge iPads, but I don't have an iPad to try it out with.

I googled before I posted. Looking for real world feedback. there's conflicting statements on wether the first device in that search will charge an iPad Air 2.

That's a critical piece of information you had left out! Better put that in the thread title as well...

thank you! Reports are that this doesn't work with iPad. Going by some user reviews on Amazon.

It charges my Air 1 just fine. I don't think the power reqs changed for the 2.

I have a 10 port amazon unit. Has 3 higher-powered ports, which manage to charge my ipad3 just fine, albeit slower than it's dedicated charger.

Not at home, but can check the model when I get back, if you like.

thanks el-bo, I just decided to get this one:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VDVCQ84/?t ... ag=WC33373

it supports charging 3 devices at the highest speed and work with iPad Pros as well. Plus 7 USB 3.0 ports.
